Barrio del Albaicín y Sacromonte

The Albaicin (Heritage) and the Sacromonte are two of the districts with more color, charm and history of the city of Granada.

Walking through the Albaicin is a trip to their Moorish roots and a delight for the senses. Its maze of narrow streets scented with jasmine, overlooking the gardens of the cármenes (its typical houses) or an aromatic tea accompanied with a delicious pastry Arabic, are a unique experience.

The Sacromonte neighborhood is famous for its caves, in which the Roma continue to celebrate every night their flamenco singing and dancing. In this neighborhood was where they established the roots of flamenco and traditional Zambra born with native dances and songs as the fly or the cap.
